Technologist – Testing

Up to £28,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours:
37.5 per week

We're looking for a
customer facing
Technologist
to play a key role in testing products for compliance, supporting customers with expert advice, and contributing to technical training and presentations.
About the Role
As a Technologist, you'll be involved in a wide variety of technical and customer-facing activities, including:
* Discussing test results and new project opportunities with customers
* Drafting technical reports and handling customer communications
* Presenting at seminars, webinars, and customer meetings
* Supporting and mentoring technicians
* Delivering internal and external training programmes
* Contributing to technical articles and industry insights
* Participating in customer visits and promoting services and capabilities
* Working in line with Quality and Health & Safety standards
About You
You'll be someone who thrives in a technical, customer-facing environment with strong analytical and communication skills.
Essential:
* Degree in Materials Science or a related scientific discipline
* Familiarity with physical testing techniques
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Confident presenter with customer-facing experience
* Strong problem-solving and logical thinking abilities
* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Able to work both independently and collaboratively
* Motivated, adaptable, and willing to travel
Desirable:
* Experience within the testing industry
* Full, clean driving licence
* Background in sales, marketing, or business development
* Completion (or working towards completion) of a recognised technical training course
