Job Title: Warehouse Operations Manager
Reporting to the Head of Logistics, you will lead the management team and warehouse operatives to ensure efficient warehouse operations for retail store deliveries and eCommerce fulfillment. Your responsibilities include meeting productivity, service, safety, and cost KPIs, providing leadership, communication, and support to your team to follow processes and achieve performance metrics.
Responsibilities:
* Lead the management team to deliver and exceed site performance targets.
* Manage four operational Team Managers, their Team Leaders, and operatives.
* Drive a culture of continuous improvement, high performance, and recognition.
* Promote our values and positive work environment, ensuring team engagement.
* Contribute to operational planning for manpower, volumes, costs, and service levels.
* Understand warehouse processes and key operational levers.
* Become proficient in Warehouse Management System (WMS) JDA/Dispatcher.
* Ensure full utilization of automation systems like Suresort sorter.
* Support departmental budgeting and cost efficiencies.
* Operate at a pace that increases productivity and accuracy.
* Ensure health and safety policies are rigorously followed and improved.
* Attract, develop, and retain talent with a robust succession plan.
* Make decisions considering the broader impact and communicate openly.
* Conduct regular reviews to promote diversity and operational improvements.
* Focus on team wellbeing, engagement, and recognition.
* Engage with stakeholders across the business.
* Perform other duties as required to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
