Working as part of a "project triangle" alongside a Site Manager and Quantity Surveyor to ensure that technical, constructability and commercial aspects of project delivery are considered throughout.
Responsibilities
* Leading the design of treatment or infrastructure projects from the initial outline to detailed design, through construction, commissioning, and handover.
* Coordinating the project team including civil, electrical, mechanical and process designers, BIM modelers and technical specialists – ensuring designs are completed on programme, within budget, and to the quality defined by each framework and industry specifications.
* Undertaking design in own discipline and mentoring less experienced colleagues where appropriate.
* Building positive relationships with the clients' project, operational and technical assurance teams and promoting a "one-team" approach.
* Acting within a "project triangle" with Site Manager and Quantity Surveyor to integrate technical and commercial aspects.
Qualifications & Experience
* Degree in Engineering.
* Working towards professional qualification.
* A valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across your operational region.
