The Role As COO, you will lead all non-academic operations, ensuring seamless systems, financial sustainability, and compliance. You’ll work closely with the Principal, Executive Leadership team and Board to deliver strategic and operational enablement initiatives that support Teaching and Learning, Wellbeing, Pathways and student success in an exciting period of transformational organisational growth. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations, systems implementation, and process improvement across corporate functional streams that support the running of MOB. Lead strategic planning and academy development, including capital projects. Manage budgets, ensure financial sustainability, and risk oversight. Foster a high-performing, values-aligned team culture while building inhouse capability within your areas of accountability. Ensure governance, compliance, and reporting excellence in the pursuit of laying foundational maturity for scale. What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree in business management, operations, or education management (MBA, Masters, or CPA/CA highly regarded). 10–15 years’ experience in operational leadership, with at least 5 years in an executive role. Proven success in leading complex operations and diverse teams. Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience in education or mission-driven organisations is highly desirable. How You Will Be Measured Operational tasks completed and on schedule. ERP systems implemented and staff trained. Capital and non-capital projects delivered on time and budget. High degree of compliance with regulatory standards. Supporting overall staff, parent, and stakeholder satisfaction. Why MOB?
