Salary: £9,941.60 actual per annum (15 hours), £24,854.00 per annum full‑time equivalent
Flexibility: Must be fully flexible over 7 days, including working Saturdays and/or Sundays.

Responsibilities
As a Retail Assistant you will support the team and the charity by delivering first‑class customer service and maintaining shop standards. The store environment changes daily; your duties will vary and include:
* Providing excellent customer service and resolving complaints.
* Keeping up to date with special promotions and setting up displays.
* Greeting customers, assisting shoppers, and encouraging Gift Aid donations.
* Processing cash and card payments.
* Receiving, storing, and stocking delivery of stock, including heavy items.
* Maintaining a high standard of presentation and housekeeping.
* Ensuring safe use of equipment and compliance with health and safety policies.
* Handling administration, banking, and security procedures.
* Traveling to other premises for training or support as required.

Qualifications and Experience

Training and Induction
* Attend induction training at the Hospice.
* Participate in all statutory training and wear required PPE.
* Complete any further training related to the role.
