Job Summary
Rotational Band Pharmacist West Cumberland Hospital Whitehaven (band 6/7 progression post plus EDC). Patient‑centred? Enthusiastic? Motivated? Team player? Does this sound like you? Applications are invited from pharmacists looking for a new challenge, or those qualifying this year to join our band 6 to 7 pharmacist team. Our well‑established rotational pharmacist foundation training programme will give you the support you need as you begin your career journey in hospital pharmacy.
Main duties
You will gain a broad wealth of experience in a variety of clinical settings including emergency admissions, respiratory disease, cardiology, stroke, cancer services, surgery as well as dispensary and aseptic services. You will be supported by an advanced specialist pharmacist in each rotation whilst benefiting from foundation level training. We also provide a clinical and dispensary service 7 days a week and an on‑call service.

* MPharm or equivalent
* Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
