Project Manager - 12 Months FTC - Charity - Digital Transformation
I am working with a large well-known charity who are looking for a Project Manager on a 12-Month fixed term basis (potential for this to extend or even turn permanent - but not guaranteed).
They are looking to re-imagine their entire website. They currently do have a digital team with a content design & UX designer, but they'll be bringing in an external agency also as they are really looking to invest in a huge over-haul so that they can use digital technologies to further support and enhance their work and increase their impact.
You may be working on:
* Defining and validating user needs based on evidence from research
* Presenting findings and actionable recommendations to stakeholder groups - both in person and online
* Creating, maintaining and prioritising product backlogs
* Working on pipelines to direct the work of developers, agencies and freelancers
* Working with stakeholders to communicate design plans, progress and outcomes – with the ability to advise, influence and challenge constructively
* Designing and delivering training to upskill colleagues in areas such as website content management and related digital skills
* Budget and resource management
* Testing across digital platforms, including A/B and usability testing
* Workshop facilitation
* Reporting on project progress to external funding bodies at project milestones, against agreed funding criteria
You'll need knowledge of:
* Deep understanding of digital tools and infrastructure such as content management systems (CMSes), forms and APIs
* Interest in and understanding of UX trends, tools and developments
* User-centred design and development methodologies such as Agile
* Familiarity with setting, monitoring and reporting measurable product performance and impact targets
* Confidence working with project management tools
* Flexibility to tailor approach and outcomes depending on the audience
* Project managing design and delivery of headless CMS solutions
* Research and prototyping tools such as Snap Surveys, Figma and Miro
Experience working for a charity, public sector, education or arts organisation in the past is a huge bonus!
