We are actively seeking a Breakfast Chef to work as part of the Castle Inn kitchen brigade. The Breakfast Chef plays a key role in food production and service during breakfast and lunch times.
Responsibilities include maintaining high hygiene standards, ensuring cleanliness of kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils, and assisting in food preparation and service.
Role Responsibilities
* Preparing all breakfast food items, hot and cold, for daily service
* Assisting with basic mise en place and lunch preparation
* Ordering breakfast food items using the kitchen system
* Maintaining food hygiene and safety standards
* Ensuring cleanliness of equipment and utensils
* Supporting the kitchen team in smooth operations
* Adhering to food margins and standards
* Following recipe guidelines
* Ensuring food quality meets high standards
The Ideal Candidate
* Passionate about food
* Enthusiastic and eager to learn
* Experience in a luxury hotel or venue kitchen preferred
* Knowledge of health & safety and food safety guidelines
* Ability to work to high standards
* Creative, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure
