The Company
Our client is a highly reputable, well-established, and leading International Lloyd's Broker with a strong presence in the London Market Insurance sector. They have offices globally and are based in their Head Office in the heart of the City of London, near the Lloyd's of London building.
Due to their growth, they are expanding and seeking a motivated IBA Technician to support their Finance and Technical Processing team.
Role Duties
* Responsible for bank reconciliation and cash matching
* Preparing and processing premiums, commission, and claims payments
* Performing bank reconciliations and managing banking systems for payments
* Maintaining accurate records using internal electronic data management systems
* Monitoring credit risk, funding, unallocated cash, un-forwarded balances, and unrealised Brokerage
* Producing intracompany reports and schedules
* Resolving queries related to unexpected or unidentified funds
* Addressing queries from clients and underwriters
* Liaising with international offices and providing IBA support
* Building and maintaining constructive relationships with internal clients
About You
* Experience as an IBA Technician is required
* Insurance experience is essential, preferably in the London Market (experience with Lloyd's Brokers is advantageous)
* Knowledge of client money rules and legal principles in insurance
* Attention to detail and accuracy
* Good communication skills and problem-solving abilities
* Ability to manage time, prioritize, and meet deadlines without compromising quality
