Key Responsibilities
* Deliver both Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
* Operate and maintain building services plant, including HVAC systems, to ensure optimal performance
* Carry out effective fault-finding and minor installation/refurbishment works as required
* Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, ensuring quality and compliance
* Participate in a standby/callout rota and support continuous plant efficiency improvements
* Undertake statutory inspections, ensuring compliance with health & safety policies and procedures
* Use CAFM systems to log, update, and communicate maintenance tasks and projects
Professional and Personal Competencies / Qualifications
* Apprentice trained in mechanical or multi-skilled engineering
* City & Guilds in Heating & Ventilation (6188), Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (6187), or Building Services Engineering (6288)
* Educated to GCSE and A-Level standard (desirable)
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Strong skills in HVAC system maintenance and repair
* Familiarity with BMS systems and controls
* Pressure systems AP training/experience (advantageous – training can be provided)
