We’re looking for a motivated, organised, and people-focused Practice Manager to join the established team at Hutton Village Dental Practice.
* Full-time permanent opportunity - 40 hours per week over 5 days, Monday to Friday
* Established and highly reputable 7-surgery mixed NHS and private practice
* Modern and comfortable practice environment with a loyal patient base
* Wide range of treatments offered, including implants, orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry, facial aesthetics, sedation, prosthodontics, and emergency dental care
* Busy practice with strong patient demand and excellent referral network
* Outstanding patient feedback with a 4.9-star Google rating
* Supportive and collaborative leadership team, assisting with overall practice growth and management
* Ideally suited to someone with previous dental practice management or dental industry experience
Please note that as part of your role, you’ll be the Registered Manager for this practice.
About you

* A healthcare, retail, hospitality, or similar service-focused background - experience managing a dental practice or strong leadership experience as a lead dental nurse is an added bonus, but not essential
* Leading and supporting colleagues to perform at their best
* Confident working with financials (P&L, KPIs, budgets)
* Focused on delivering operational excellence: from fully-functioning equipment and facilities, to a compliant, process-driven practice team

Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience:
* Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate, support, and develop team members
* Strong financial acumen, including experience managing P&L, KPIs, and budgets
* Excellent organisational and time management skills with meticulous attention to detail
* Demonstrated experience delivering outstanding customer service in a service-focused environment
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships
* Problem-solving abilities and a proactive, solution-focused mindset
* Experience in process management and driving operational excellence
* Proficiency with IT systems and practice management software
* Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements within a healthcare or similar regulated environment
* Background in healthcare, dental practice management, or similar service-focused industry
* Experience as a lead dental nurse or in a senior clinical support role
* Proven track record of staff recruitment, induction, and retention
* Experience with practice performance analysis and strategic planning
* Familiarity with dental practice operations and patient care coordination
