We’re looking for a dynamic Senior Delivery Manager to lead our delivery team in providing high quality solutions to our clients. Reporting to the Operations Director, you’ll work closely with both Operations and Technical leadership to manage delivery teams, support bid activity and evolve our delivery processes in line with industry best practice.
This is a key senior role in our growing organisation and we have big ambitions. You'll bring your strategic leadership, delivery execution, financial control and team development experience to ensure we consistently exceed client expectations while supporting Codiance’s broader growth strategy.
Requirements:
* Strong commercial experience as a Delivery Manager, Programme Manager or Project Manager
* Take full ownership for the end-to-end delivery of client projects to agreed time, cost, quality and scope, proactively managing risk, dependencies and delivery outcomes
* Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams
* Solid experience in financial planning, budgeting and forecasting
* Strong risk and issue management, with appropriate controls and mitigation strategies
* Experience setting goals, tracking milestones and ensuring delivery outcomes
* Ability to plan across multiple teams and programmes, identifying dependencies
* Excellent communication skills, able to manage senior stakeholders and facilitate difficult conversations both internally and externally with clients and suppliers
* Experience contributing to bids, statements of work and client account commercials
* Comfortable working in Agile environments and championing continuous improvement.
Required Experience & Skills
* Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, approachable manner that fosters positive team dynamics and client relationships
* At least 5 years’ experience of project delivery in a technical environment, specifically software development
* Experience in both agile and waterfall methodologies
* Excellent attention to detail
* Budget & resource management
* Financially literate
* Identifying and managing risk
* Proven experience managing technical delivery teams
* MSP, Prince2, PMP, Agile, SAFe, ScrumMaster or similar qualifications
* Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project or JIRA.
Desired Qualities
* Public sector delivery experience
* Track record of implementing project management frameworks
* Business development experience, specifically client pitches
* Working knowledge of GDS.
