We’re looking for an Electrical Estimator to join our growing team at JE Electrical Contractors Ltd.
We deliver electrical and MEP projects across commercial, education, retail and industrial sectors, and with a strong pipeline of work ahead we’re looking for someone who can help us price projects accurately and support our continued growth.

🔧 The Role
You’ll be responsible for preparing competitive and accurate estimates for electrical and M&E projects, working closely with the director and delivery team.
Typical responsibilities include:
* Reviewing tender documents, drawings and specifications
* Producing detailed electrical estimates and cost breakdowns
* Obtaining and reviewing supplier and subcontractor quotations
* Assisting with mechanical subcontractor pricing where required
* Identifying value engineering opportunitiesSupporting with tender submissions and clarifications
* Attending pre-construction meetings
👷 What We’re Looking For
* Experience estimating electrical projects
* Strong understanding of electrical installations and systems
* Ability to interpret drawings and specifications
* Experience with commercial, education, retail or similar sectors
* Good communication and organisational skills
* A practical mindset and ability to work closely with project teams

* Experience pricing full MEP packages
* Background as an electrician or engineer
* Experience working for an electrical contractor
