To be successful as a Frontend Engineer, you should have experience with:
Understanding of JavaScript fundamentals, ES6+, closures, promises, async/await, and functional programming concepts. One major framework (React, Angular, or Vue) including state management, component architecture, and performance optimization techniques.
Identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks, implement code splitting, optimize bundle sizes, and ensure smooth rendering across devices.
CSS skills including flexbox, grid, animations, and ability to create pixel-perfect implementations that work across all modern browsers and device sizes.
Good typing skills, interface design, and ability to leverage TypeScript to improve code quality and developer experience.
Experience with testing methodologies and tools (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress) and ability to implement comprehensive test coverage.
Understanding of build pipelines, automated testing, and deployment processes for frontend applications.
