As an Insurance Sales Associate at Comparion Insurance Agency, you will be responsible for building and maintaining client relationships, identifying insurance needs, and recommending appropriate coverage solutions. This role involves prospecting new clients, providing exceptional customer service, and meeting sales goals in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual with strong communication skills and a passion for assisting others.
We are seeking a Part-Time Insurance Sales Associate to join our team at our Burlington, MA office. This position is typically 32 hours per week and has in-office requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition: Prospect and generate leads through networking, referrals, cold calling, and other lead-generation strategies to build a robust client pipeline.
Consultative Sales: Assess clients’ insurance needs, provide expert advice, and recommend tailored insurance products, including auto, home, life, and other personal lines of insurance.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure long-term satisfaction and retention.
Sales Goals: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets while maintaining high standards of customer service.
Policy Processing: Assist clients with policy applications, renewals, and claims processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Compliance: Adhere to all state insurance regulations, company policies, and ethical standards in all sales activities.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with underwriting and customer service teams to deliver seamless client experiences.
Market Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and new insurance products to provide clients with up-to-date solutions.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred.
Experience: 1-2 years of sales or customer service experience preferred; insurance industry experience is a plus, but not required.
Licensing: Must obtain or possess a valid Property & Casualty (P&C) and/or Life & Health insurance license within 60 days of hire (training and support provided).

Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
