In this role, you will provide a technical service to staff and students in the Visual Arts & Performance department, with specific responsibilities in Design & Technology, in order to provide and maintain a high-quality offer to students. Previous experience of working within a workshop is essential, as you will be demonstrating the use of workshop machinery, tools and computing techniques and processes to staff and students, as well as being responsible for the maintenance of equipment and stock.
Previous knowledge of COSHH and CLEAPPS legislation is required, as well as a willingness to undertake First Aider training. The ideal candidate will have a flexible approach to working hours, including working weekly twilight hours, and good teamworking and communication skills.
Long Road is a thriving, successful post-16 Sixth Form College with 2,600 students on roll across a variety of studies.
