Job Summary
Lecturer in English (GCSE) delivering high-quality teaching to 16-18 year olds in a full-time FE setting.
Responsibilities
* Plan, deliver and assess GCSE English lessons that meet curriculum and awarding body requirements.
* Create engaging, inclusive learning experiences, track and report learner progress.
* Contribute to curriculum planning and quality assurance activities.
* Collaborate within the English team to support learner attendance, retention and achievement.
* Ensure compliance with funding and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
* Strong subject knowledge in English.
* Experience of teaching GCSE within an FE or secondary setting (or ability to adapt quickly to FE delivery).
* Hold or be willing to obtain a recognised teaching qualification.
