Summary Performs planned and corrective maintenance on the building’s interior and exterior surfaces. Paints/finishes walls, equipment, buildings, and other structural surfaces using brushes, rollers, and/or spray guns. Prepares surfaces prior to painting. Applies wall coverings and other finishes to decorate and protect interior and exterior surfaces. This position provides painting/wall finishing services throughout the RRMC organization (main hospital campus as well as offsite clinics and administrative offices). Minimum Education High School diploma, vocational school education, or equivalent. Minimum Work Experience 1 year of related experience Required Licenses/Certifications Maintain valid Driver’s license. MECH Certification (ASHE/AHA) preferred Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Familiar with federal, state, and local rules and regulations regarding building maintenance and repair. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry principles. Basic knowledge of maintenance practices and safety procedures. Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in maintenance work Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues Ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance tasks Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area. Ability to communicate effectively with patients, visitors, staff, and contractors/vendors. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and manufacturer’s instructions. Pay Range: $19.29 - $28.50
