Role – Associate Landscape Planner
Location – Manchester
Salary – £DOE
We are looking for an Associate Landscape Planner to join our landscape team. The role will involve contributing to a diverse portfolio of projects, including residential and mixed‑use developments, infrastructure schemes, renewable energy projects, urban regeneration, and strategic landscape and green infrastructure planning. You will prepare Landscape and Visual Impact Appraisals (LVIA), landscape planning reports, and support master planning and design strategies, working closely with colleagues across environmental, planning, and engineering disciplines.

KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
* A (post‑graduate) degree in Landscape Architecture
* Experience delivering Landscape and Visual Impact Appraisals and Assessments
* Experience in the successful delivery of landscape and urban design projects
* Experience of managing landscape design during the construction phase
* Excellent technical skills and proficiency in Autodesk and Adobe Creative Suite
* Fluent spoken English with excellent verbal, written and graphic communication skills
* A full & clean driving licence and full right to work in the UK
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Independently manage projects
* Conduct strategic and feasibility/concept studies
* Prepare LVIA for both linear and site‑based projects
* Conduct Townscape and Visual Assessment (TVIA)
* Develop preliminary, sketch and detailed design including general arrangement drawings
* Create construction detailing, schedules and specifications to support planning applications
* Prepare tender and construction packages, and conduct construction/post‑construction inspections
* Support the development of relationships with existing and new clients in the public and private sectors
