GSL Education are seeking a passionate and inspiring Technology Teacher to work at a thriving Secondary Schools in the York area, starting in September 2025.
Technology Teacher Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in Design and Technology.
* Contribute to the development of schemes of work and resources in line with the national curriculum and department goals.
* Support and inspire students of all abilities.
* Use a range of assessment strategies to monitor student progress.
* Ensure high standards of classroom management.
Technology Teacher Requirements:
* A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
* A degree in a relevant subject area.
* Strong subject knowledge across a range of Technology disciplines.
* Ability to inspire, challenge, and motivate students with engaging lessons.
* A collaborative, reflective approach with a commitment to continuous improvement.
* Hold an Enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for a new one with GSL Education.
