Senior Architectural Technologist
Location: Chelmsford
Salary: GBP44:48,000
A well:established architectural practice in Chelmsford is looking to appoint a Senior Architectural Technician to support the delivery of large:scale residential and mixed:use schemes. This is a senior:level role within a growing technical team, offering the opportunity to take ownership of projects from post:planning through to construction while working closely with developers, consultants and internal design teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Production of detailed technical and construction drawing packages
* Coordination with consultants and external stakeholders
* Ensuring compliance with UK Building Regulations and planning requirements
* Technical delivery of projects across RIBA stages 4:6
* Supporting and mentoring junior team members
* Liaising directly with clients and project teams
Requirements
* Degree or HNC/HND in Architectural Technology or similar
* Significant experience within a UK architectural practice
* Strong background in residential projects, ideally developer:led schemes
* Excellent knowledge of UK Building Regulations
* Proficiency in AutoCAD
* Strong technical detailing and problem:solving skills
* Confident communicator with a collaborative approach
