Description Scope of Work: Kent is looking for a Senior Loss Prevention Engineer to deliver Pre-FEED, FEED and Detailed Design projects in the Energy and Chemicals Industry Deliverables: Can be technically responsible for an area of work and preparation of specific deliverables. Undertakes specific tasks / area of work as defined by the lead / principal engineer for Process Safety. Identifying and resolving discrepancies and divergences from original proposal / contract under the supervision of the lead / principal engineer. Supports the preparation of the Process Safety TDR and executes allocated tasks within the requirements of the project execution plan and TDR. Ensures compliance with Kent’s ISO accredited QMS, and project specific procedures, guides and standards. Performs related duties as and when instructed by lead / principal engineer or group manager. Prepare /review firewater demand and hydraulic calculations Prepare and review Firewater system PFD, P&ID and datasheets Prepare /review loss prevention layouts and calculations Prepare /review fire fighting and safety equipment specifications Manage a team of Engineers and Designers Prepare HAC schedule and layouts Prepare fire and gas detection and protection philosophy Prepare F&G cause and effect Review F&G mapping report Prepare Fire Zone layout Prepare F&G layouts Prepare fire zone layout Prepare PFP layout Carry out the Fire Water network hydraulic calculation Prepare escape route layout Prepare fire-fighting and safety equipment layouts Knowledge of Auto Cad Knowledge of F&G mapping study Knowledge of NFPA standard Key Requirements: Degree qualified in a relevant engineering subject, preferable in Chemical Engineering. Experience working in Process/ Technical/ Design Safety, preferably in the Energy industry, including upstream, midstream, downstream, chemicals / petrochemicals and new energies.
