Salary: £66,738 (£73,763 achievable after 12 months successful performance in the role)

The difference you will make as Planning & Performance Manager
You will lead the planning and performance function within Asset Services, integrating strategic asset investment planning with performance management. Ensure high-quality data and analytics drive investment decisions and service improvements, while providing assurance that asset management activities meet regulatory standards and the Group’s strategic objectives. You will lead and motivate the team to deliver a high-quality planning service, setting clear objectives and KPIs to support Asset Management’s strategy. Ideally you will develop and implement a strategic framework for investment planning and asset data management, including policies and procedures aligned with industry best practice, to ensure continuous improvement of the service.
Responsibilities
* Data Quality Focus: Champion the integrity, accuracy and completeness of asset data to support reliable reporting and decision-making.
* Insight-Driven Investment: Use robust data analysis to shape long-term asset investment plans, directing resources to where they add most value.
* Performance Assurance: Monitor, audit, and report to ensure performance targets and compliance standards are met or exceeded.
* Strategic Planning & Data Management: Drive strategic asset investment planning and maintain high data quality standards.
About You
* Essential:
o Experience in asset management, investment planning, or performance management in housing or property; track record of leading teams and delivering service improvements via data insights.
o Analytical skills to interpret complex data sets and translate insights into actionable strategies; clear stakeholder communication.
o Knowledge of social housing asset management practices, regulatory requirements, and performance standards.
o Commitment to data quality; familiarity with asset information systems and advanced Excel or BI tools.
o Strong written and verbal communication; ability to engage with senior managers and external partners.
o Problem solving and proactive, solution-oriented mindset for continuous improvement.
* Desirable:
o Experience in social housing associations or local authorities; understanding sector challenges and regulatory frameworks.
o Experience with asset management or performance management software and data analytics tools.
o Related qualifications (e.g., degree in data analytics, housing, business) or certifications in performance improvement/quality management.
