This role would suit a time-served Electrician or Electrical Engineer with a strong installation and maintenance background who enjoys hands‑on engineering, technical responsibility, and supporting others on the workshop floor.
The Role:
* Provide electrical support to workshop staff, ensuring work is completed efficiently and to a high standard
* Oversee electrical equipment installation within a manufacturing environment
* Produce electrical documentation and certification for units under build
* Ensure compliance with hazardous area installation requirements (ATEX / IECEx)
* Assist in the preparation and execution of FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) procedures
* Support the production of ATEX and associated certification documentation
* Supervise and mentor team members and contractors when required
The Person:
* Time-served Electrician or qualified Electrical Engineer
* Strong electrical installation and maintenance background
* Knowledge of ATEX and IECEx standards
* CompEx EX01-04 qualified
