Gateman / Site Access Supervisor (Freelance)
Location: Catterick, North Yorkshire
Contract: January 2026 December 2027
Salary: £200 - £225 Per Day
We are recruiting experienced Gatemen / Site Access Supervisors for a long-term, security-sensitive construction project based in Catterick.
This is a senior access-control role suited to individuals with supervisory experience on live construction sites, particularly within regulated or high-security environments.
Responsibilities
* Control and manage site access and egress points
* Verify ID, permits, and authorisation for all personnel and vehicles
* Supervise and coordinate on-site security guards
* Act as first point of contact for deliveries, visitors, and subcontractors
* Maintain access logs, incident reports, and daily records
* Liaise with site management and security teams
* Enforce health & safety and site security procedures
Essential Requirements
* Valid CSCS card
* SSSTS
* BPSS or SC Security Clearance (must be active)
* Proven experience in a Gateman / Site Access / Security role on construction sites
Contract Details
* Freelance - CIS
* Long-term, stable contract through to end of 2027
