As a Regulations Enforcement Manager, your main responsibilities will be:
* Leading and guiding Enforcement, overseeing investigations and decision-making to deliver timely, proportionate and legally robust compliance with electoral law.
* Developing and supporting Enforcement staff to build capability, resilience and a culture of continuous improvement.
* Providing senior oversight of investigations, approving plans and ensuring robust, consistent approaches.
* Leading the development and continuous improvement of enforcement policies, systems and processes, embedding learning from casework.
* Driving insight on enforcement performance and trends, shaping directorate and cross-Commission activity.
Essential:
* Demonstrated experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
* Experience analysing allegations and identifying practical, legally robust options to resolve investigations.
* Significant experience assessing complaints, investigating alleged breaches of legislation and recommending proportionate enforcement action.
* Extensive experience operating within and applying regulatory frameworks, including interpreting and applying legislation.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including producing reports with defensible conclusions that withstand scrutiny.
Desirable:
* Understanding of the work of the Electoral Commission and the legislative framework it administers.
