We’re looking for an experienced Care Assistant to cover early shifts within a residential service where each resident has their own apartment. Care is delivered on-site by a dedicated team, with scheduled calls managed on a rota to meet individual needs—offering the feel of community care without the travel. The residents are semi-independent, but the role includes personal care, medication administration, meal preparation, domestic duties, and occasional shopping trips in the local area. Some residents require double-up care and assisted moving using hoists and other mobility aids. To be suitable for this position you must have: - An Enhanced DBS Certificate that is registered on the update service - Up to date mandatory training certificates - Full up-to-date CV - At least 2 professional references covering a minimum of 2 years working within formal care settings or community care. If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep! *Please note that we do not offer sponsorships* This role offers ongoing opportunities for the right candidate We have part time or full-time opportunities available with hours being 06:00 to 14:00 on various days from Monday to Sunday! You will be paid £12.21 per hour with an enhancement to £16.24 per hour for unsociable hours worked between 19:00 to 07:00.
