About The Role
Working Days: Monday to Friday 08:30 – 16:00
Job Overview: We are recruiting an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our contract delivery team and manage cradle‑to‑grave delivery of minor and major project activity across Scotland.
Key responsibilities include:
* Coordinate capital works project delivery across Scotland through vetted and accredited supply chain.
* Own the customer relationship, promoting a one‑team approach and issue resolution.
* Deliver life cycle and capital investment programmes such as building fabric, roofing and replacement of key infrastructure.
* Program management of all project activity and appropriate designation to delivery teams.
* Conduct pre‑start meetings, technical inspections, formal handovers, building walk‑arounds and proactively identify tasks ensuring quality standards.
* Oversee sub‑contractor delivery and ensure appropriate resources are in place.
* Control approved business documents including CPPs, H&S documents and variation processes.
* Complete construction phase plans.
* Ensure CDM training and experience.
* Support local community initiatives and SME engagement.
* Commercially astute with experience in NEC frameworks and operating contracts.
* Establish contract performance management procedures, targets and reporting.
* Provide contract team with necessary support from management and wider OCS team.
* Manage commercial risk through OCS commercial procedures and policies.
About You:
* Management experience in project management of hard services projects.
* Understanding of legislative requirements impacting the client’s property.
* Knowledge of NEC4 TSC framework beneficial.
* Relevant H&S qualifications (IOSH, SMSTS).
* Excellent communication including presentation and written report writing.
* Good PC skills including advanced Excel.
* Security clearance to NPPV/1 mandatory.
* Full driving licence essential.
Requirements: Obtain Non‑Police Personnel Vetting Standards (NPPV) Level 1.
