The Role
The Fabricator / Welder will play a key role within the fabrication workshop, manufacturing precision‑engineered products to exacting standards. You’ll be responsible for producing high‑quality welded components, maintaining workshop standards, and ensuring all work meets Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental procedures.
Key Responsibilities
* Fabricate and weld components in line with engineering drawings and production schedules
* Carry out fabrication and welding duties as directed by the Production Manager or Chargehand
* Perform pre‑use checks on tools and equipment, reporting any issues promptly
* Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workshop organisation
* Ensure all QHSE policies and procedures are followed at all times
* Complete fabrication projects within set timeframes and quality standards
Qualifications and Experience
* Time‑served Fabricator / Welder or equivalent hands‑on experience
* Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Confident using a variety of fabrication tools and equipment
* Knowledge of welding processes (GMAW preferred)
* Committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
* Competitive hourly rate with regular overtime

What’s on Offer
* £40,000 – £47,000 basic salary depending on experience
