Job Description
We are working with a well-established and highly regarded law firm who are looking to recruit an experienced Conveyancing Legal Secretary to support a senior partner within their residential property team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident legal secretary to work closely with an experienced fee earner in a busy, high-quality conveyancing practice.
The role will include:
* Providing full secretarial support on residential conveyancing matters (sales, purchases, re-mortgages)
* Preparing and amending legal documentation and correspondence
* Opening and managing files in line with compliance and AML requirements
* Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors
* Diary management, telephone handling and general legal administration
The ideal candidate will have:
* Proven experience as a legal secretary within a UK law firm
* A solid understanding of the legal secretarial processes
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* The ability to work confidently supporting a senior fee earner
