The Head Teacher and Management Committee are seeking to appoint a Casual Teacher to join our team of highly motivated professionals who work collaboratively to raise standards at all levels. The applicant must support a positive, nurturing environment where students are encouraged to meet their potential.
We are looking for someone who meets the person specification in the job description and who:
* Is an excellent classroom practitioner.
* Is passionate and knowledgeable about children's learning and development, and applies that knowledge in the classroom to secure the best progress possible for all learners.
* Confident in working on their own, using their initiative, as well as contributing to the AOLE as a whole
Relevant knowledge and experience of pupils with ALN would be beneficial. You must have an understanding of the safeguarding principles and child protection procedures. Experience of managing a range of approaches to behaviour, including managing behaviours that challenge would be advantageous.
You will need to be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) for this post.
