Teaching Assistant - Role Overview: Work in a specialist nurture setting with 7-9 pupils from KS1 and KS2 Support social and emotional development through structured routines and positive relationships Provide 1:1 and small group support to help children re-engage with learning Collaborate with teachers and SEN staff to deliver tailored interventions Help create a safe, caring and consistent space that fosters confidence and trust Model positive behaviour and promote emotional regulation strategies The Teaching Assistant will also help facilitate reintegration into class where appropriateTeaching Assistant - Requirements: Experience working with primary-aged pupils, ideally in KS1/KS2 Understanding of SEMH needs, trauma-informed approaches and nurture principles Calm, consistent and emotionally attuned communication style Resilient and flexible - no two days are the same in a nurture setting!
