We offer an inclusive and collaborative work environment where employees can thrive and make a meaningful impact.# **Tasks and Qualifications:****Key Responsibilities:*** Ensure the solution meets the technical requirements of a material-handling project and is carried out within cost and time scale constraints.* To interpret design input information (including mechanical design and data lists) to produce control system designs.* Production of all associated documentation including, but not limited to, design calculations, design specifications, operation and maintenance manuals, and test specifications.* Design and production of electrical layouts and schematic drawings using appropriate CAD tools.* Procurement of electrical equipment including control panels and field devices.* Liaising with suppliers on technical matters.* Travel to customer sites to support the commercial team with new enquiries and conduct site surveys as part of the design process.**General Responsibilities:*** To liaise with systems sales and project engineers during project phase.* To liaise with installation supervisors, sub-contractors and customer during order execution phase.* To liaise with production planning and purchase departments.* To liaise with and provide technical information to any department so entitled, i.e. controls, mechanical, projects, service, spares.* To comply with the company policy as defined in the Staff Handbook, Safety Manual, and Quality Assurance Manual.**Qualifications & Experience:*** Essential: HNC/HND or equivalent in Electrical Engineering* Desirable: Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline* Essential: To be conversant with AutoCAD, E-Plan, Word, Excel, Outlook.* Desirable: previous experience in materials handling industry* Essential: At least 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role* Desirable: Good understanding of distributed control systemsThere may be a need to support activities across the EMEA region.
