At Neve Fleetwood, we’re looking for a proactive and customer-focused Account Manager to join our sales team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, growing accounts and spotting new business opportunities within a defined region.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, you’ll work closely with our Business Development Managers to support existing customers and drive sales growth.
What you’ll be doing
* Managing and growing a portfolio of existing independent customers
* Proactively selling promotional lines, daily specials, and identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities
* Building strong, long-term relationships by understanding customer needs now and in the future
* Identifying gaps and growth opportunities through questioning, data analysis and customer insight
* Supporting new business by targeting specific customers and following up promotions
* Achieving sales, margin and customer retention targets
* Working closely with Business Development Managers and depot colleagues to deliver great service
What we’re looking for
* Experience in sales or account management, ideally in foodservice or a fast-paced environment
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Commercial awareness with confidence working with figures and margins
* A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to suggest new ideas
* Good product knowledge (or the ability to learn quickly) and attention to detail
* Comfortable managing targets, calls and customer conversations
