Step Teachers are currently seeking a committed and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to support a 4-year-old pupil with Autism from September. This role is ideal for someone with a nurturing nature who can foster independence while delivering tailored support in a structured early years environment.
SEND Teaching Assistant - Role:
* Provide 1:1 support for a 4-year-old child with Autism, including learning activities and personal care.
* Assist classroom teachers in planning and delivering differentiated lessons to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
* Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.
SEND Teaching Assistant - Requirements:
* Previous experience working as a SEND Teaching Assistant in a nursery.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
* Flexibility, patience, and a genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of children with SEND.
