An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist to join the Forensic Mental Health Inpatient service in Fife.
Fife Forensic Inpatient Services include a multidisciplinary low secure inpatient unit, Radernie Ward, at Stratheden Hospital. The post involves working within a supportive team with strong multiagency partnership across Fife and Scotland's Forensic Network.
This role complements the medical team in a service that provides evidence-based, clinically governed care. NHS Fife offers development opportunities, including support for research, audit projects, undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, and developing specialist interests.
Interviews are scheduled for Monday, 25th August 2025.
Applicants must have full GMC Registration, a license to practice, and be eligible for the GMC Specialist Register. UK-trained applicants should have evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCT or be within 6 months of confirmed entry. Non-UK applicants must demonstrate equivalent training and competence for UK practice.
