An exciting opportunity has become available for a Senior Support Worker at Lindisfarne Court, Darlington to assist in the effective management, administration and co-ordination of the service.
The role will entail working on shift with the team of support workers and supporting the service manager/deputy service manager with effective day to day management and leadership of the service.
Lindisfarne Court is a purpose-built residential service that supports 13 adults with physical/learning disabilities.
Essential Criteria:
* NVQ 3 or equivalent in care
* Experience of working with vulnerable adults
* Experience of positive behaviour support and supporting people with complex health needs
* Experience of developing, reviewing and updating personal care plans
* Experience of managing and developing staff
* Promote health and wellbeing in people's lives
* Making everyday matter for the people we support
* The ability to be curious, aspirational and outcome focused
* Must be able to evidence effective leadership skills
* Working knowledge of CQC Key Lines of Enquiry
* Ability to motivate self and others
* Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and occasional night shifts
* Good working knowledge of IT including Microsoft Office packages particularly Word and Excel
* A full valid driving license and use of own vehicle (Desirable)
