We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Panel Beater to join our team. As a Panel Beater, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicle bodywork to its original condition. This role requires a keen eye for detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work with various tools and equipment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality repairs and excellent service.
Responsibilities
* Assess damaged vehicles and determine the necessary repairs needed to restore them to their pre-accident condition.
* Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to repair or replace damaged panels.
* Assemble parts and components accurately according to specifications and schematics.
* Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are in good working order.
* Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair processes and timelines.
* Perform heavy lifting as required when handling large vehicle parts or materials.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality results.
Skills
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand schematics related to vehicle bodywork.
* Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively.
* Experience in equipment repair and maintenance is highly desirable.
* Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their vehicle repairs.
* Capability to perform heavy lifting as part of daily tasks.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
