Construction Health and Safety Advisor (Site-Based, Short-Term Project)
We are an established health and safety consultancy based in Glasgow. We are looking for a highly experienced Construction Health and Safety Advisor for an ongoing renewables project in the North East of England.
Role
This short-term contract role will be site based for approximately 6‑9 months, Monday‑Friday 8:00‑16:30. We require someone with significant experience in construction safety, preferably with renewables and/or utilities experience.
Job Type
Full‑time, Contract – Immediate Start
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement site health and safety procedures.
* Carry out safety inspections, audits and toolbox talks.
* Ensure compliance with CDM 2015 regulations and statutory duties.
* Provide guidance to workers and management on safe working practices.
* Manage safety training, induction programmes and record keeping.
Qualifications
* A degree in a safety, construction or design related field (preferable).
* NEBOSH Construction Certificate as a minimum.
* Certified CSCS Professionally Qualified card.
* Experience in UK construction safety and/or renewables.
* Significant knowledge of CDM 2015 Regulations.
* Full UK Driving License and willingness to travel as required.
* Member of IOSH and APS (preferable).
