Planning Consultant / Senior / Associate - Newcastle
Salary: £50K + bonus + full benefits package
Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week)
Opportunity
A well‑established, multidisciplinary property consultancy is looking to strengthen its Planning team with the appointment of a Planning Consultant, Senior or Associate (level dependent on experience).
This is a genuinely exciting opportunity to join a high‑performing, collaborative team working across a diverse pipeline of residential, commercial and mixed‑use developments. You'll play a key role in delivering expert planning advice while contributing to the continued growth of the business.
Role
* Managing planning applications from inception through to determination
* Providing strategic planning advice to a broad client base
* Supporting and leading on development plan representations
* Building strong client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor
* Identifying and securing new business opportunities
* (Senior/Associate level) Supporting team leadership, mentoring and project oversight
About You
* MRTPI chartered (essential)
* Experience within planning consultancy or a local authority environment
* Strong knowledge of development management and planning policy
* Commercially aware with a proactive approach to business development
* Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills
* Ambitious, driven and keen to be part of a growing team
