HGV Class 1 Driver Ongoing Work Immediate Starts

£15.40 per hour PAYE | £18-£19 LTD

HireGiant is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver to join our well-established haulage client based in Smethwick.
You will be delivering goods nationwide using acurtain side trailer, making between 1-4 collections/deliveries per shift, either doing local deliveries or more long distance work. There is a potential for ongoing work for reliable drivers who meet performance and compliance standards.
Your responsibility as a Class 1 Driver:
* Nationwide or Local deliveries and collections
* Driving artic/wagon and trailer units
* Securing loads using straps in line with HSE & driver regulations
* Ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately
* Representing the company in a professional manner at all times
Requirements for a Class 1 Driver:
1. Cat C+E entitlement on your licence
2. Valid Digital Tacho Card & CPC Card
3. Safety boots
