Overview of the Role
Architectural Technician role focused on technical delivery across residential developments. You will produce coordinated working drawings, review information, and support delivery across multiple live schemes. The position offers a structured pathway for progression within the business, with increasing responsibility in team coordination, client interaction, and project oversight.
Practice & Project Information
This established practice delivers residential schemes for national and regional housebuilders. Projects range from 30 to 300 units and span planning through to construction information. The studio maintains a collaborative, quality-focused environment with a strong pipeline of work and consistent client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
* Produce detailed technical drawing packages across residential projects
* Manage multiple schemes, ensuring programme, quality, and delivery targets are met
* Review and check drawing information to maintain technical standards
* Coordinate workloads across concurrent live projects
* Support fee proposals and project resourcing discussions
* Act as a client contact and resolve technical and construction issues
Required Skills and Experience
* Minimum 3 years post‑qualification experience in UK residential projects
* Strong understanding of developer‑led residential delivery
* High proficiency in AutoCAD for technical package production
* Knowledge of UK building regulations and construction standards
* Revit experience beneficial
