Job Title : Skilled Production Operative
Location : Ledbury
Contract Details : Ongoing Temporary Assignment - Full Time 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 2pm to 10pm
Pay Rate : Starting from £12.05 per hour, rising to £12.55 after a 12-week qualifying period (Weekly Pay)

Responsibilities :
As a Skilled Production Operative, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the production line. Your responsibilities will include :
9. Setting up machines and performing changeovers according to production requirements.
10. Following the production schedule and internal system to meet daily targets.
11. Setting up product print as per manufacturing specifications.
12. Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
13. Reporting any accidents or health & safety concerns promptly.
14. Performing all production-related tasks to maintain high-quality finished goods.
15. Identifying and reporting any issues that may pose a risk to food safety.
16. Recommending improvements to the Shift Production Manager and implementing accepted changes.
17. Maintaining accurate and timely operational documentation.
18. Meeting departmental goals and quality targets.
19. Providing quality products and services that meet customer requirements.
20. Monitoring processes and addressing non-conformance.
21. Proactively participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
22. Undertaking relevant training as required.
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience) :
23. Experience working in a production environment, including setting up and operating production lines.
24. Reliability, self-motivation, drive, and commitment.
25. Flexibility and resilience to undertake additional tasks as directed.
26. Strong communication skills.
27. High personal and professional standards.
28. Computer literate.
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience) :
29. Technical certifications or relevant qualifications in production operations.
Technologies :
30. Familiarity with machines and equipment used in production processes.
