An exciting opportunity has become available for an Engineering Geologist to join a well:established ground investigation and geotechnical consultancy in Coventry. This role offers the chance to work on a wide range of infrastructure, residential, commercial, and industrial projects across the Midlands while developing your technical and project management skills within a supportive team environment.
The successful Engineering Geologist will be involved in all aspects of ground investigation projects, including site supervision, logging soil and rock samples, groundwater and gas monitoring, factual reporting, and liaising with clients and subcontractors. You will gain exposure to both geotechnical and geo:environmental projects while working alongside experienced engineers and geologists.
The successful Engineering Geologist will have:
* A degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline
* Previous ground investigation or site experience
* Experience logging soils and rocks to current standards
* A full UK driving licence
* Strong communication and report writing skills
* A proactive and enthusiastic approach to work
