Bramley, Surrey, who are looking to appoint a committed and resilient
Teaching Assistant
to join their supportive team.
The Role:
Full-time, Monday to Friday (8:30am
4:00pm)
Start: ASAP
Supporting pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs, both in class and through small-group interventions
Building positive and trusting relationships to help students re-engage with learning
Assisting teachers in delivering personalised learning plans and behaviour strategies
Encouraging resilience, confidence, and emotional regulation in pupils
What the School is Looking For:
Previous experience working with children or young people with SEMH, SEN, or behavioural needs (school or care background)
Calm, patient, and empathetic approach
Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
Team player who can work collaboratively with staff, therapists, and external agencies
Resilience and adaptability to meet the needs of pupils with complex challenges
Requirements:
Right to work in the UK
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
References covering the last 2 years
