Maintenance Engineer (Food / Multiskilled)£45,000 - £52,000 + Bonus + 24 days holiday + Defined Career Path & Progression + Company VehicleBurton-on-Trent / LeicesterAre you an experienced multiskilled Maintenance Engineer from a food, FMCG or manufacturing background looking to work for a global business where you take ownership of equipment reliability across production sites in Burton and Leicester?Do you have experience in a maintenance engineering environment and want to work in a company where you are trusted to do your job as an expert in your field and will deliver genuine value across the company?On offer is a role as the Maintenance Engineering Lead in a Food Manufacturing environment where you'll be responsible for developing and implementing a preventative maintenance programme.This is a hands-on role with a key focus on introducing structure and improving how maintenance is managed across the business.The role:
* Develop and implement a preventative maintenance programme across all sites
* Respond to breakdowns and carry out fault-finding and repairs
* Maintain and improve a wide range of production equipment, including grinders, fillers, forming and clipping machines
* Identify recurring issues and implement long-term fixes
* Manage and organise spare parts and critical components
* Work closely with production teams to minimise disruption
* Standardise maintenance practices across sites
* Support the installation and setup of new equipment
The person:
* Hands-on engineer who enjoys problem-solving and taking ownership of maintenance systems
* Multi-Skilled Engineering experience with production machinery
