The Role:
As a Senior CT Radiographer with us, you'll play a pivotal role in providing a professional, patient-centred approach and high-quality scanning services in accordance to the standards set out by the company. This is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact and develop your career.
What You'll Do:
* Liaise closely with the multi-disciplinary team.
* Ensure that all staff maintain safe and effective working practices, including the operation of equipment and systems in use.
* Ensure that all patients experience the highest levels of service, in line with the agreed expectations for scanning within GenesisCare centres.
* Ensure that the unit maintains accurate and complete records of patient treatments, in line with the agreed processes within GenesisCare.
* Ensure that GenesisCare clinical audit, radiation protection and quality assurance requirements are met.
* Ensure that compliments are recorded alongside any incidents or complaints that are also thoroughly and properly investigated, and that the necessary safeguards are taken to prevent recurrence.
* To adhere to all HCPC standards.
* Pro-actively maintain own continuing professional development (CPD) in accordance with GenesisCare and HCPC professional standards.
What You'll Have:
Experience and skills:
* Experience in all aspects of diagnostic imaging to a very high level of competence
* Evidence of empathetic and a holistic approach to patient care
* Experience in private health sector
* Good experience with resolving complaints satisfactorily
* Sound understanding of governance
* A wide range of clinical skills
* Evidence of effective organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
* Able to make independent judgments/decisions, ability to solve problems
* Able to work flexibly to achieve GenesisCare business objectives
Qualifications and Knowledge:
* DCR (DR) or BSc (Hons) or equivalent in Diagnostic Radiography
* HCPC registration
* Evidence of continuing professional development
