The Operational Processes Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the operational efficiency of underwriting processes. This role leads a team of Operations Analysts to analyze and improve workflows, enhance data quality, and reduce operational risks. The manager collaborates with underwriters, Operations Managers, and other departments to ensure smooth underwriting operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate analysis and documentation of current processes.
* Liaise with Operations Managers to incorporate their requests.
* Develop and implement process improvement initiatives such as workflow optimization, automation, data quality enhancement, system improvements, and risk mitigation.
* Lead, mentor, and develop a team of process analysts and specialists.
* Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide feedback.
* Develop change management plans and train stakeholders on new processes.
* Identify operational and reputational risks and maintain process documentation.
* Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Strong stakeholder relationship management skills.
* Effective communication of project progress and challenges.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and Power BI.
* Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
* Adaptability and teamwork skills.
* Highly organized with a good understanding of operational frameworks.
