An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Deputy Care Home Manager to work in an exceptional rehabilitation centre based in the Torquay, Devon area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers.
This is a residential service to support the specific needs of people with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) or neuro-degenerative conditions such as Motor Neurone Disease or Multiple Sclerosis.
To be considered for this position you must hold an NVQ/QCF Level 3 or 4 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Working alongside the Registered Manager to assist with the line management of a team of staff, ensuring compliance with CQC and other statutory regulators.
2. Providing the highest standards of care to all residents and managing the service to the highest standards.
3. Supporting individuals to live as independently as possible and achieve their goals.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
1. Understanding of person-centred, needs-led, and outcome-based service.
2. Commitment to quality care and service provision.
3. Able to maintain confidentiality.
4. Able to work under pressure.
5. Previous experience in a deputy manager position with knowledge of the requirements of the service users.
The successful Deputy Manager will receive an excellent salary of GBP 13.80 per hour, with an annual salary of GBP 26,910. This permanent full-time role requires working 37.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment, you will receive the following generous benefits:
