Role Summary This role sits within a specialist technology support function focused on enabling Portfolio Managers and Analysts through robust platform guidance, high ‑ quality user assistance, and expertise across modern cloud and infrastructure services. The position offers front ‑ office exposure and requires strong technical capability, professionalism, and a proactive approach to learning. Key Responsibilities Provide high ‑ touch technical support and training to investment users across core platform services. Guide developers and researchers in the effective use of AWS, Airflow, Coder, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Terraform, and related tooling. Improve operational efficiency through workflow automation, documentation enhancement, and user ‑ education initiatives. Liaise with technical and business teams to identify solutions, promote platform improvements, and share knowledge across the organisation. Manage incidents and service requests, ensuring timely resolution and consistent service delivery. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or equivalent experience. Strong proficiency with Linux and Python. Proven capability in troubleshooting, problem ‑ solving, and stakeholder communication. Understanding of cloud concepts, automation, and/or database fundamentals, with willingness to expand skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience within financial services (e.g., hedge funds, investment banking, commodities). Familiarity with messaging technologies (Kafka, RabbitMQ), CTRM/ETRM systems, or major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Scripting or automation experience using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
